Speaker: Christian Folini – Security expert, historian & open-source advocate
Christian Folini is a renowned security expert, co-author of the ModSecurity WAF Handbook, and former coordinator of the OWASP CRS Project. He represents civil society on the steering committee of the Swiss National Cyber Strategy and co-organizes the Swiss Cyber Storm conference. Alongside his IT expertise, he brings a unique academic background: as a trained medieval historian, he links cybersecurity with historical insight and analyses social and political developments with technical precision. His talks are critical, engaging – and often surprisingly entertaining.
