The Libero webshop and the öV Plus app have been purposefully enhanced to make cross-zone travel easier – for passengers as well as transport operators.
Ticketing for the future – extension tickets coming soon
Starting at the end of the month, extension tickets can be purchased seamlessly via the Libero webshop (operated by our client Bernmobil) and the "öV Plus" app – with no need to switch systems. This is especially beneficial for commuters and occasional travelers crossing multiple zones: one ticket, one process – simpler, faster, more user-friendly. It strengthens network integration within Swiss public transport and makes traveling more comfortable than ever.
Dog and bike tickets in the Libero webshop – a practical plus for travelers
Whether you're traveling with a dog or a bike: since the beginning of the year, these tickets can be added directly during the purchase process in the Libero webshop – no extra steps, no separate booking. These ticket options are automatically integrated into the sales process, making travel planning even easier.
SwissPass ticket integration: referencing single tickets made easy
Another milestone will be reached in July 2025: single tickets will be storable and manageable via the SwissPass. The technical foundation for this feature has been developed over the past months in collaboration with Libero and other partners and is currently in the testing phase.
By referencing tickets via SwissPass, the ticketing process becomes not only more standardized but also digitally enhanced: customers benefit from more streamlined access, while transport operators gain more structured usage data.
