Glue Software Engineering AG has won the WTO tender of the Swiss Federal Statistical Office (BFS) 'Maintenance, support, further development and operation of the PSA application'.
The application is used by the Federal Statistical Office to collect data for statistical and administrative purposes on outpatient patient data in hospitals (PSA). The survey covers all invoiced outpatient services provided by hospitals and birth centres. Together with the hospital and medical statistics, this provides a comprehensive picture of these hospitals and their services to patients. The application consists of a client application installed at the hospitals and birth centres and a server application for controlling the survey.
Glue Software Engineering AG developed the PSA application for the BFS in 2014 and has been maintaining the application since then. The application has increased security requirements and is therefore operated by our ISO 27001 certified sister company fence IT AG.
With the WTO tender, the BFS has created the basis for maintenance, support, further development and operation in the period from 1 January 2019 to 31 December 2026.
