About myself: I am one of the founders of GLUE Software Engineering AG located in Bern/Switzerland. I hold a EE degree (1982) from School of Engineering in Biel I hold a CS degree (1987) from Swiss Federal Institute of Technology - Lausanne (Theoretical Computer Science) I am one of the founders and member of CHOOSE. I am acting as an Expert for the following Fachhochschulen: FH Solothurn in Olten FH valaisanne in Sion, I am a member of the ACM and IEEE

All about Conduits

Recent projects that I was working on:

• Developing J2ME midlets running on mobile phones for information access
• Developing applets that run on a Java SIM Card inside a GSM phone
• Developing a number of value added services for telecom operators like
  - Access to the electronic telephone directory by SMS from the mobile phone
  - Retrieving the train schedule of Europe's railways
  - Developing various bidirectional SMS-to-Internet gateways
• Leading the design and architecture of an object-oriented communication SW,
  written in C++, for automatic teller machines (ATM's).

Past teaching activities:
